business The Paris Air Show (or Paris-Le Bourget) starts on June 18 at Le
Bourget airport, located not far from Paris. It’s a commercial air show,
organized by the French aerospace industry’s body the Groupement des Industries
Françaises Aéronautiques et Spatiales (GIFAS). The main aim of the event is to
demonstrate military and civilian aircraft to potential customers. One of the
most prestigious shows of its kind, Paris-Le Bourget is a place where many major
sales contracts are announced. Paris Air Show is always attended by
international manufacturers and some countries’ military forces. Serious
professional fair, Paris-Le Bourget is also a show welcoming a large number of
visitors – not only from Paris, but from other parts of the world too.
