BEL SOGGIORNO HOTEL

Location. Housed in a 1908 three-storey Sicilian villa with gardens and situated in the town of Taormina, the Hotel Bel Soggiorno enjoys an excellent hillside position overlooking the Bay of Naxos. Expert Tip. Seventeen kilometres from Taormina, on the slopes of Mount Etna, is the Castagno di Cento Cavilli, the Chestnut Tree of 100 Horses. This tree, split into three trunks, is reputed to be 2000 years old and is named from a legend that it sheltered 100 knights on horseback one stormy night.
