Location. Originally built as a restaurant in 1863, the boutique Berns Hotel sits in the middle of Stockholm, Sweden, 600 meters from the narrow, cobbled streets of Gamla stan, the old town section of the city. This historic area contains the Royal Palace, which was built in the 18th century after the previous palace burned down.
