Kings Manor Hotel is set in a former convent and, with its modern glass-fronted foyer, is located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Taxis can be hailed in the street, although the center of Edinburgh is best explored on foot. Edinburgh Airport is nine miles away.

Construction is underway next to the hotel as the West Port House is demolished and a flagship office and retail development is built. There is no disruption to hotel services, but there may be some noise disturbance. Construction work will be done weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Guests reserving a Superior One-Bedroom Apartment or Superior Studio Apartment will overlook the building site. The estimated date of completion is not available at this time.
