Expert Tip. The area around this Krabi resort is known for being the country’s oldest area of continued settlement. After carbon-dating stone tools, ancient colored pictures, beads, pottery and skeletal remains found in the province’s many cliffs and caves, it is speculated that Krabi has been home to Homo sapiens since the period 25,000 - 35,000 B.C.
Gala Dinner: The hotel hosts a gala dinner on December 31, 2007. Guests are charged for the dinner regardless of whether they attend. Fees for the dinner are collected by the hotel at check-in.
