Location. Built in the 1940's in Miami Beach, Fla., the 12-story Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront reopened its doors in early 2004 after a complete renovation designed to restore its original style and architecture. The hotel sits directly on the oceanfront, one-and-one-half miles north of the Miami Beach Convention Center and two miles from South Beach and the city's Art Deco Historic District. MTV Latin America is one mile away, while Billboard Music Group is two miles from the property.
Hotel Features. The luminous, ivory-colored lobby of the Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront features espresso furnishings set against blue and green patterned carpeting. The Courtyard Café serves American fare a la carte and for their daily buffet-style breakfasts. Carrabba's Italian Grille provides dinner and room service. A 24-hour mini-market, near the front entrance, stocks assorted snacks and sundries. The hotel's business center offers computers, printers and complimentary wireless Internet access. An outdoor pool and spa tub are on site, and exercise equipment is available in the fitness room on the third floor.

Guestrooms. The Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront offers 263 guestrooms, most with city views and oceanfront rooms with balconies. Standard amenities include cable television, video game consoles and complimentary high-speed Internet. Coffeemakers are provided in each room. Select rooms include sofa beds. Bathrooms feature granite countertops, curved shower rods and designer toiletries.

Expert Tip. The Courtyard Miami Beach Oceanfront's Tiki Restaurant sits immediately outside on the historic Miami Beach Boardwalk. The restaurant offers lunch with a menu available late into the night and is one of the few that are connected to the miles-long boardwalk.
