Hotel Eden

Location. The Hotel Eden is a centrally located hotel housed in a typical nineteenth century Neapolitan mansion, 50 metres from Naples central train station and 200 metres from the Capodimonte Palace and museum. Naples Capodichino Airport is four kilometres from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.
Hotel Features. The public areas of the hotel feature marble floors and copper fixtures, and a glass elevator leads to the upper floors of the property. Guests can start the day with a continental breakfast in the light and airy dining room. There is a large plasma screen TV for guests to watch in the lounge and there are three high-speed Internet access points in the lobby. A wide staircase leads to the roof garden where views of Naples and Vesuvio can be enjoyed.

Guestrooms. The hotel offers 40 air- conditioned guestrooms located on four floors, all of which have traditional decor in warm shades of golden sand and terracotta with light wood furnishings and open on to balconies. Amenities include televisions, direct- dial phones, safes, minibars, and bathrooms with hair dryers and complimentary toiletries.

Expert Tip. Capodimonte is the last of the Neapolitan royal palaces. It was built in the early eighteenth century and now houses one of Italy s richest museums with a great picture gallery and a collection of majolica and porcelain. Other attractions in the city include the 13th century Gothic Cathedral and National Archaeological Museum where many of the objects come from Pompei.
