Location. A small, villa-style residence, the Hotel Kursaal is located ten kilometres west of Naples in Agnano, a quiet, green neighbourhood four kilometres from ancient Pozzuli and the Solfatara volcano. Naples Capodichino Airport is five kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of ten minutes. Hotel Features. Expert Tip. Families can spend a day at the Edenlandia theme park, 800 metres away, which occupies over 50,000 square metres and boasts 25 rides. Four kilometres away is the impressive Solfatara volcano. Previously considered by the ancients to be an entrance to Hell, it is now rather more benign but still noted for its explosions of sulphuric gases, carbon vapours and small eruptions of boiling mud.
