Location. The former Renaissance palace, Hotel Monna Lisa, is located in Florence, Italy, just 150 metres from Santa Croce Church, 300 metres from Duomo, Uffizi Gallery and Central Market, and 500 metres from Palazzo Pitti.
Hotel Features. The palace was built in 1300 as a convent and was later transformed into a residence, where many oil paintings and antiques grace the salons and guestrooms. Original touches from the 16th century, such as the cotto fiorentino flooring, bar desk and wooden ceilings, still remain intact. An American-style bar serves cocktails and light snacks.
