Rawi Warin Resort Spa

Location. The Rawi Warin Resort Spa harmonizes with the surrounding foothills of Koh Lanta Island in Krabi, Thailand. This resort rests amid landscaped gardens along the crystalline waters of Klong Tob Bay on the Andaman Sea.
Hotel Features. Six restaurants and bars include the bay-view Watermark Seafood/Grill Restaurant that prepares grilled seafood, barbecued meats and Mediterranean fare. The Wave Bar offers signature cocktails, tapas, select wines and cigars. Cocktail developer Vichit Somboonchok created the Mojotini specifically for Mojo’s Sports Bar & Pub, and the Stream Pool Bar provides complimentary wireless Internet access. Auntie Mae’s Bakery and Deli serves Auntie Mae’s original-recipe bagels, muffins, croissants, breads and desserts. A 150-square-meter function room accommodates up to 100 people, and a business center offers wired and wireless Internet access. The fitness center features a range of cardiovascular and strength-training equipment with hardwood floor and natural light. Four outdoor pools include an infinity pool and a children’s pool with a water slide. PADI-certified instructors conduct daily dive trips to the Bida Islands, Koh Haa, Phi Phi Ley, King Cruiser Wreck and to the infamous Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. A music room features acoustically designed listening areas, and a library loans DVDs for use in the resort’s 24-seat mini-theater. The Kids’ Corner offers children’s activities and programs.

Guestrooms. This two-story resort offers 183 guestrooms and villas that extend onto ocean-, garden- and pool-view balconies. Accommodations include coffeemakers and minibars and Rooms are equipped with satellite television. Room décor incorporates colorful Thai fabrics, wood floors and richly designed Thai wood furnishings. Private bathrooms feature bathtubs with separate rain showers and cotton bathrobes.

Expert Tip. As of 2007, the Rawi Warin Resort Spa offers Asia’s only outdoor pool that extends 100 meters into the ocean.
Gala Dinner:
The hotel hosts a gala dinner on December 31, 2007. Guests are charged for the dinner regardless of whether they attend. Fees for the dinner are collected by the hotel at check-in.
