Location. The 30-acre breachfront San Luis Resort Spa and Conference Center sits on the famous Seawall Blvd. of Galveston Island. Moody Gardens and the Strand entertainment district are both within three miles of the hotel.
Hotel Features. The 16-floor San Luis Resort Spa and Conference Center features a 4,000 square-foot glass promenade that towers over lobby seating clusters featuring a baby grand piano. Expert Tip. With its eight-foot thick walls, Fort Crockett forms the foundation upon which the hotel is built. The fort was a mobilization center during Mexican Border troubles in 1912 and it was used to train coast artillery and served as a prison camp in World War II.
