Scandic Karlshamn

The Scandic Karlshamn is a three-storey, late-1960s hotel set in a suburban area, within three kilometres of the train station and Karlshamn town centre. The 99 guestrooms feature light, summery decor with patterned fabrics, and are equipped with satellite television with pay movies, clock radios, telephones, trouser presses and bathrooms with shower/tub combinations.
The hotel's onsite restaurant offers traditional Swedish dishes and an à la carte menu, and guests can enjoy hot and cold drinks and snacks in the lobby bar. They can also swim in the indoor pool, unwind in the sauna, and have refreshing cold drinks and light meals in the outdoor café. Karl Olsson's Emigrant Monument, a statue of Karl Oscar and Kristina from Wilhelm Moberg's tale of two 19th-century Swedish emigrants who undertake an arduous journey to America, is three kilometres from the hotel. While further afield Eriksberg, the largest wildlife sanctuary in Northern Europe, is 15 kilometres away. Ronneby Kallinge Airport is 30 kilometres away, an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
