Sheraton Padova Hotel

Location. The Sheraton Padova Hotel & Conference Centre is a modern property spread over 10 floors and situated within four kilometres of the Scrovegni Chapel and the Gothic splendour of St Anthony’s Basilica. Venice Marco Polo Airport is situated 40 kilometres from the hotel and takes approximately 30 minutes to reach by car.
Hotel Features. Guests can work out in the fitness room or enjoy discounted use of facilities at the Health Centre, situated two kilometres from the hotel and offering an indoor pool, sauna and solarium. A courtesy shuttle bus runs to and from the centre of Padua and guests can browse the souvenirs in the hotel gift shop. The hotel offers an adjacent Conference Centre, covering 1,300 square metres and divided into 15 meeting spaces, all complete with a range of audio-visual equipment. Those arriving by car will find a private car park (surcharge) and further amenities include laundry facilities and a multilingual concierge service.

The Sheraton Padova offers two dining options: Les Arcades is a modern restaurant with soft yellow decor serving a range of international and Italian dishes including home-made pasta, and the Venetia Bar is a modern piano bar offering a selection of dishes including oysters and regional specialties along with a wide range of drinks.

Guestrooms. The 229 air- conditioned guestrooms feature contemporary decor in warm colours with striped fabrics. All include Internet connections, satellite television with pay movies, direct-dial telephones, minibars, safes and desks. Bathrooms are complete with hair dryers.

Expert Tip. The Pedrocchi Café, situated four kilometres from the hotel, is housed in a magnificent 19th century building designed by Giuseppe Jappelli and is one of the biggest cafés in the world. The café was the centre of the 1848 riots in Padua and also the meeting place of artists and writers including Byron and Stendhal.
