Steenberg Hotel

Location. The Steenberg Hotel and wine farm is located in the countryside outside of Cape Town, South Africa, eight kilometres from Muizenberg beach and 22 kilometres from Cape Town city centre.
Hotel Features. Situated at the foot of the Stone Mountains and surrounded by vineyards, this hotel is housed in across three 17th-century farm buildings: the Manor House, Jonkershuis and the Barn. A championship 18-hole golf course, putting green, driving range and heated outdoor pool can all be found on site. The Hotel Steenberg’s adjacent winery offers complimentary wine tastings and cellar tours. The local area offers opportunities for sailing, surfing, snorkelling and whale watching.

Expert Tip. Dubbed the birthplace of surfing in South Africa, Muizenberg Beach stretches round the top of False Bay to the Strand, a distance of over 20 kilometres. Watch out for great white sharks, common in these waters.
