Location. The contemporary Andaz Hotel is located next to Liverpool Street Station in The City, the financial district of central London, England. The Tower of London is half a mile away and Tower Bridge is a short walk further on. St Paul's Cathedral and the Barbican Arts Centre are within a mile of the hotel. Liverpool Street railway and Tube station is a few steps away.
Hotel Features. Built in 1879, this Grade II-listed railway hotel was redesigned for the millennium. The Victorian red-brick frontage was restored, and a central atrium was added.
The Andaz has five restaurants. Terence Conran's Aurora has a stained-glass dome and serves European cuisine such as ravioli of escargot. The lively Terminus serves brasserie-style food, and George is a traditional pub serving real ales and hearty pies. At Fishmarket, diners can eat in the restaurant or enjoy oysters and champagne in the bar. The intimate Miyabi prepares sushi and bento boxes to eat in or take away.
There are 12 meeting rooms for 10-400 people and a business centre.
The hotel's health club has a fitness room in a former Masonic lodge, with personal trainers and yoga instruction available (surcharge may apply). Spa treatments are available (surcharge).
Guestrooms. The Andaz's 267 climate-controlled guestrooms are decorated in a minimalist style. Some have period architectural details such as fireplaces.
