Alternatively, taxis are available from a taxi stand adjacent to the terminal building. Located 250 meters from Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile and the Scotch Whisky Heritage Centre, the Knight Residence is also within reach of Edinburgh's main high- street shopping thoroughfare, Princes Street, which is 800 meters from the hotel.
Families can appreciate several features of the hotel designed with them in mind. Children 18 years and under stay as complimentary guests of their parents, and childcare and babysitting services are available on site. Separate living and sleeping quarters give adults and children distinct space. There will be no disruption to hotel services, but there will be noise disturbance. Construction work will be performed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note that Superior One Bedroom Apartment and Superior Studio Apartment rooms overlook the construction site.
