Jul 13 2007 July 15th 2007 Schloss Velden, the first Capella Hotels and Resorts
property, will reopen its doors to visitors. The hotel is located in the
Austrian town of Velden, Carinthia resort in the south of country. Built in
1603, the old castle rises above the blue-green waters of the Lake Wörther. The
castle was turned into a luxurious hotel with 105 rooms of the main
and the new buildings. Guests will enjoy wonderful views over mountains and a
complete choice of facilities, including a yacht club, beaches and spa. All the
rooms for more than $600 per night are provided with a touch panel which
controls all the electronic facilities like automatic curtains, aircondition and
lights. The price also includes parachute jumping. Rooms offered are: standard
rooms, deluxe rooms and royal suite. Pets are allowed for free. |
