American magazine Travel&Leisure named Singapore
Airlines, with a network spanning five countries, the best airline company in
the world. In the second place is all-business class MAXjet transatlantic
airline, with aircrafts operating from the USA to the Great Britain. The airline
offers comfortable flights in cabins with traditional seats fitted with leather,
and premium complimentary meals. The third place belongs to the Emirates from
the United Arab Emirates. These three countries are far beyond their
competitors. Then there come: Cathay Pacific from Hong Kong, Thai Airways
(Thailand), British Virgin Atlantic, Australian Qantas, Japanese JAL, another
Singapore company SilkAir and South-Korean Asiana.
To make the list there was an opinion poll held
among the magazine’s readers, with such criteria as: comfort of the cabin
interior, food, service on board as well as in company’s offices, and ticket
prices.
