IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) announces that 500-room Crowne Plaza
hotel in Colorado Springs will be opened within the month. It promises to be the
largest branded hotel in the city.
The hotel is located near Interstate 25 and the offices of Intel Corp.,
Boeing, Atmel Corporation and TechWise. Among other local attractions are Garden
of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, Seven Falls and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.
The owners of the hotel are Stamford Real Estate Investments Ltd. and Harrell
Hospitality Group.
The rooms of Crowne Plaza Colorado Springs will be equipped with Crowne Plaza
Sleep Advantage program, which guarantees relaxed and comfortable sleep.
Crowne Plaza Colorado Springs has 43,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, including
28 meeting rooms and Summit Ballroom. The hotel also features swimming pool,
fitness center, 3 restaurants and wireless Internet access.
