A unique mobile hotel, called
Hotel Móvil was introduced in Spain. The hotel designers say that this is an
indispensable invention when it comes to open-air concerts, festivals and other
events of the kind, during which visitors often have problems with finding a
place to spend night at.
Móvil
looks like a large truck trailer which can easily be turned into a 11-room
two-storied hotel. There are eight standard rooms on the ground floor whereas
the upper floor offers three luxurious suites for five guests. The
transformation process takes about 30 minutes and the hotel’s total capacity is
approximately 40 people. Each room is equipped with WC, plasma TV, DVD-player
and internet access. A bar and movie screening room are also included in some
trailers. First hotels of the kind will appear in Spain in 2008. One could even
buy a hotel of his own.
