Forbes Traveler has published a list of ten
oddball hotels. The first is Al Maha Desert Resort and Spa located in a desert
not far from Dubai and designed in a Bedouin style. Guests can relax in a unique
aroma spa, enjoy camel walks and safari. This hotel is followed by Anatolian
Houses in Cappadocia, Turkey. Despite its exotic looks, the hotel is equipped
with modern appliances and appointed with luxurious furniture. The first place
is occupied by a Baron Island nature reserve with a hotel that accommodates no
more than 12 guests at a time. This is the place for true nature lovers as there
are lots of rare animals and plants found here. In the fourth place there is the
Costa Rica Tree House Lodge located within the country’s rainforest and built of
natural materials only. And, finally, Swedish world-famous Icehotel is in the
fifth place. As seen from its name, the hotel is created of ice.
