Ferries depart Wuhan daily for Yichang and Chongqing upstream, and also downriver through Anhui Province to Nanjing and Shanghai. As foreigners are apt to be charged up to fifty percent more than the published fares, the following costs should be used as a guide only. Prices are for travel on standard ferries for double cabins, followed by per person for a bed in a quad/6-8-berth cabin. Consult "The Yangzi River" section for general information about types of vessels and classes available.
